Terms & Conditions

1. By entering into this promotional prize draw, participants agree to be bound by these terms and conditions. The promotion is only valid during the period specified and for the products specified.

2. The promotion is open to all residents of participating countries (see appendix) aged 18 and over excluding employees of Stanley Black & Decker UK Limited and associated companies, their respective families, affiliates and subsidiaries, their agents, or anyone professionally associated with this promotion.

3. In order to be eligible for entry into the promotional competition, participants must first purchase a qualifying STANLEY product (see appendix) and register their product, together with proof of purchase, using an active MySTANLEY account.

a. Existing MySTANLEY members can log-in and follow the promotional links to register their purchase and take part.
b. New members can register for a new MySTANLEY account and follow the promotional links and register their purchase to take part.

4. The promotion starts on 1st April 2015 and the closing date for receipt of entries is 1st August 2015. Entries after this date will not be accepted. Incomplete or illegible entries will not be accepted.

5. One lucky winner will be drawn at random, from all eligible participants, shortly after the closing date and the lucky winner notified within 21 days thereafter. If the winner cannot be contacted within 21 days the promoter reserves the right to award the prize to somebody else. The promoter will not be responsible for any inability to contact the winner.

6. The lucky winner, plus guest, will be invited to join us in Charlotte USA , between 9th and 13th October 2015, for the ultimate VIP racing experience, including:

a. Return flights & transfers
b. 4 nights’ accommodation in a 4* hotel
c. VIP hospitality on 10th October 2015
d. Private meet & greet with the driver of our no.19 car, Carl Edwards.
e. VIP tour of the garage and pit lane
f. Take a lap of the track with a professional driver
g. Get behind the wheel of a drag car

7. All incidental hotel expenses to include mini bar are the sole responsibility of the winner and guest and any such hotel expenditure must be settled by the winner and guest prior to hotel departure.

8. All taxes that may be incurred as a result of the prize are the responsibility of the winner and guest, and in entering the draw the participant is responsible to comply with local laws, to the extent that local laws apply.

9. The winner and guest must have valid passports and it is a mandatory requirement for anyone travelling to obtain travel and health insurance policies to cover for all eventualities.

10. The prize is non transferable and there is no cash alternative. The decision of the Promoter is final in all matters and no correspondence will be entered into.

11. The Promoter reserves the right to withdraw or amend this promotion at any time in the event of any unforeseen circumstances outside the Promoter’s reasonable control. Notice of any change will be provided on the Promoter website at www.stanleytools.eu as soon as is reasonably possible.

12. The Promoter agrees that it will, in relation to any personal data processed in connection with the draw, comply with the Data Protection Act 1998 and any other applicable data protection legislation. Details of entrants shall be retained by the Promoter for the purpose of this draw and the Promoter reserves the right to contact entrants to inform them of new products or services and promotions the Promoter thinks will be of interest to the entrant. The Promoter may also use the entrants personal data for market research and the Promoter may also send communications by email or post where the entrant has given consent to do so. Entrants may withdraw their consent to the retention of such data at any time by declaring such withdrawal to the Promoter.

13.  The Promoter will not be responsible for any computer network hardware or software failure in the Participant entering this Promotion.

14. Subject to their written consent winners may be required to participate in reasonable related publicity without further recompense.

15. Participation in this competition will not affect the participants’ statutory rights

16. This promotion and these terms and conditions are governed and construed in accordance with the laws of England and Wales and are subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the English courts.

17. The promoter is Stanley Black & Decker UK Limited whose registered office is 210, Bath Road, Slough, SL1 3YD, Berkshire, England.
